Ancient Dogu Statue found in Japan. Is this a sculpture of abstract art or an alien space suit?
While searching cable for a spontaneous Family Guy episode a few weeks ago I came across a show on the History channel called “Ancient Astronauts”. I’m not much of a history person but history mixed with Sci-Fi could be interesting so I decided to see what it was about.
The “Ancient Astronaut Theory” basically says that many of the paintings, sculptures, and historical text from ancient civilizations that we have discovered, suggest that our ancestors may have been visited and perhaps taught by extra terrestrial aliens. Now upon first hearing that of course it sounds ridiculous like something out of Back To The Future or Star Trek. But the more I learned about the research the more it started to seem possible.

Lid of the tomb of Mayan King Palenque (highlighted image). Does it show him descending to the underworld or entering a spaceship?
Writers/Archeologist like Erich von Daniken have risked their careers and credibility trying to find evidence that supports the possibility. Many ancient text and religions have writings that discuss the destruction of cities, the building of temples, and the creation of worlds been done by/for Gods. Now what if these stories were to be taken as literal and not folklore or mythology. What if instead these people were trying to document what they saw or understood and instead of using the word “aliens” they used the word “Gods”. That would explain some of the similar art work, paintings, drawings, and monuments that showed up all over the world in different places around the same time by people who weren’t even aware of each other. I mean if you think about it the theory isn’t much more crazy than the Big Bang Theory of how the Universe was created, or the one about Dinosaurs being killed off by a giant cloud caused by an asteriod.

Does the Egyptian Carving show people Operating a Light Bulb?
Now I’m not saying I believe that aliens actually did visit our planet, give us some secrets to the Galaxy, and then bailed, but there is still a lot that can’t be explained. For example the picture above is found inside an Egyptian tomb. There are a lot of ideas of what this actually is but one theory is its men operating some kind of giant light bulb. That’s all fine and good and makes sense except when you throw in the fact that light bulbs weren’t invited for like another thousand years. So its easy then to say well no it couldn’t have been a light bulb. But if they didn’t have the ability to create light how did they get around those underground tombs where its not enough oxygen to burn a lamp or torch? For that matter how did they know how to build pyramids in the first place that line up geometrically and mathematically perfect? And why did people on different continents build all these pyramids at the same time that look similar and all talk about Gods helping them?

Egyptian: Akhenaten, Nefertiti, and their children
All I’m saying is if you look back at a lot of these ancient carvings and sculptures its not hard to believe either they were waaaaay smarter than we thought, and/or if they didn’t get visited by aliens, they believed in them.

I heard that these so called aliens were the nephillim or giants reffered to in Genesis. Some christian documentaries suggest that anyone who has had an alien encounter has had some history with occult practises and that these are actually demonic intrusions.
You cannot deny the fact that all such experiences involve some form of physical violation and are never said to be pleasant.
The question that boggles me is why these beings if they are so advanced do not recognize that unannounced encounters with people are really stress inducing!
GREAT JOB ERIK — KEEP FOLLOWING THE PATH!
Thanks a lot this is really interesting to me UFO stuff always has been
I’ve never heard that before but there a so many different interpretations of if aliens exist and if they do what do they want if anything
