President Obama will throw out the first pitch at tonight’s All-Star game, to highlight his United We Serve program. Before the game, President Obama & former presidents will appear in a community service video. After the video is shown, Obama will take the field at Busch Stadium, greet the six St. Louis Cardinal Hall of Fame players and then throw the first pitch to Cardinals’ All-Star first baseman Albert Pujols. According to CNN the president will wear a specially made glove for his appearance, with a script Obama 44 and an American flag on it. The glove will then be sent to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York.

And while he’s throwing out that first pitch don’t be surprised if you see Selig on the sidelines waiting to bend his ear as to the difficulties with the Chicago Cubs.
So the owner Sam Zell wants to take them into bankruptcy protection ? What next Selig comes to Washington cap in hand looking for a a bailout for some the lesser teams ?
